This dramatic NPPF Paragraph 79 house has been granted Planning Permission in September 2020. The modern design takes the form of two interlocking blocks at right angles to each other, with a small collection of outbuildings, set in a beautiful and dramatic landscape.
The house sits at the top of a slight rise in the gently rolling landscape but is actually hunkered in to its setting to disguise the overall size of the development, hiding the garages, stables, swimming pool and support accommodation from view. In so doing, it creates two levels of gardens – an entrance area for cars, visitor access and horses and a more secluded upper level formal garden directly off the kitchen and living areas.
