The Fibonacci House, Leicestershire

This NPPF Paragraph 79 house in Leicestershire is an ‘exceptional and innovative’ scheme and has been rigorously developed through the Design Review process.

It is a house designed specifically for a musician and artist it is organised around the Fibonacci sequence – which underlines musical composition. The interior has exemplar acoustic qualities to create differing spaces which vary according to the client’s specific requirements.

The house is located in a rolling wheatfield landscape with spectacular views, and the scheme is designed to be constructed from rammed earth from the site itself.  A zero-carbon scheme with innovative heating systems, the building is laid out to create a number of different outdoor areas which will be protected from the prevailing winds.
