This Arts project was designed in collaboration with a team of experts including theatre architects and specialist engineers for a private client with particular interest in the Theatre.
The idea was to create a hub in London’s East End for performance, rehearsal and offices together with studios and live-in workspaces. This project explores the development of a cultural centre with a mix of residential, offices and retail responding to the surrounding streetscape.
At its heart of the Arts Centre is a performance venue with a fabric canopy creating indoor and outdoor performance spaces and public seating.
The project is progressing and is expected to continue in earnest as the UK recovers from the current recession.
