Cider House, North Yorkshire

On the outskirts of a sleepy Yorkshire village famous for its Benedict Monastery and cider production, we have designed a new farmstead.

This project includes a new house, barn, stables, home office and fields for the cultivation of apples for a cider crop. It sits in a valley in North Yorkshire, on a south facing slope in an idyllic location and its timber construction will be expressed in its external appearance which incorporates green roofs and blackened timber cladding.

The scheme achieved Planning Consent through NPPF Paragraph 79, and is currently moving towards a start on site.

This is a zero-carbon project with integral innovative technologies and ventilation systems.
